Aikido Seminar with Hirosawa Sensei

The Takemusu Aiki Association invites you to a seminar with Hideo Hirosawa Shihan, 7th Dan Aikikai, who will be visiting from Japan. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Hirosawa Sensei’s aikido. In this seminar he will concentrate on the execution of aikido beyond physical contact, which O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba developed late in his life..

January 2007
Every start of the New Year, a Kagami Biraki Ceremony is celebrated at the Hombu Dojo and during this celebration on January 14, 2007, Oscar Mistula has been officially granted 5th Dan (The awarding at the City Centre Dojo, Sydney).
October 2006
During the Takemusu Aiki Association of Australia Dan and Kyu grading on October 6, 2006 (Grading Result) at the City Dojo headed by Saburo Takayasu Sensei, 6th Dan Shihan, Chief Instructor, has nominated Oscar Mistula for 5th Dan (Godan). Oscar is demonstrating Tai No Henko before the start of the grading.
January 2006
Oscar will be in Cagayan de Oro City and every Monday of the week starting January 16, 2006 until February 28, 2006 he will conduct Takemusu Aikido classes. Training will both include Taijutsu and Bukiwaza and will happen during the dojo's regular classes.

Congratulations to Miss Lisle Grace D. Sia for successfully passing and excelling the 3rd Dan examination during the 2005 Annual Hombu Dojo goodwill tour in the Philippines. This year's honored guests are Mr. Shigeru Sugawara Shihan 6th Dan and Mr. Toshio Suzuki Shidoin 3rd Dan. The seminar and examination is conducted at the PAJA dojo, 3rd Floor, Sports Medicine Bldg., Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Vito Cruz, Malate, Manila

Oscar Sensei was on vacation between June 24 to August 8 in Cagayan de Oro City where he had visited
the dojo on most of its regular classes during which he had conducted intensive Buki-waza training for
both the Yudansha and Mudansha students. On behalf of the Dojo, thanks to Oscar Sensei for the wonderful
and insightful Buki-waza training.

FFA Second Enbukai and Makati Aikido Club 20th Anniversary Celebration - June 6 to 8, 2003
The 20th anniversary celebration of the Makati Aikido Club (MAC) on 2003 June 6 - 8. This celebration is made
more significant with the concurrent presentation of the Filipino Federation of Aikido (FFA) Second Enbukai.
The proceedings will be led by Hiroshi Fujimaki Sensei, 5th dan, from Japan Aikikai Hombu Dojo, Tokyo.
Fujimaki Sensei shall conduct a promotion examination as well towards the end of the celebration.
(Examinees must be from FFA member dojos and be approved for examination by their Sensei.)
